Good on Malawi!.. I support my African brothers for saying no but I think it has more to do with upholding justice and rule of law rather than saving economic ties.
Banda fears Bashir’s presence in Malawi would jeopardise the country’s economic ties with foreign donors, according to a BBC Africa report.
Should it be the former, Malawi is a very great example of what all countries should be. Being able to respect the law of the land and not allowing for bending such as Kenya did should be upheld. That way the people of this great continent do not feel that some rules can be followed and others ‘bent’.
